The Technology:  Conductance Battery Conductance was originally researched in the 1970s at the University of Minnesota as a variable to be used in the prediction of battery capacity.  The Conductance measurement is an indication of the ability of a battery to conduct electrical current. Years of laboratory and field test data have proven that linear conductance provides a reliable indication of battery state of health and a correlation to battery capacity
